Until the introduction of spray tanning guns, the salon tanning beds were the sole revenue generating option available to the salon customer. A Natural Glowing Tan

TROPIC SPA has researched and developed a self standing unit that generates a fine mist in 10 seconds that results in all-over even, glowing natural tan in just five to six hours. This fine mist is formulated using DHA (dihydroxyacetone), an FDA approved solution that contains no bronzers or harmful chemicals Tropic Spa has also refined the system with new and improved formulas incorporating moisturizers to enhance this safe and natural way to tan.

The Tropic Spa formulation has been thoroughly tested and proven to produce an all-over even tan. This has been accomplished by varying the amount of DHA concentration in each nozzle, with the darker solution at the top (facial area) and the lighter at the bottom (legs and feet). It has been shown the lower body retains a tan appearance longer and consequently requires less color.

* DHA is an active ingredient that reacts with the amino acids from keratin that reside on the skin. This reaction leads to the formation of a bronze color on the surface of the skin resulting in a deep tan appearance.

How it works

The tanning customer stands on a stationary rotating base facing the unit. He or she turns a switch which rotates the body once, a full 360 degrees for ten seconds. Ten vertical nozzles spray a fine, even mist of the Tropic Spa solution is applied to the entire body, for a safe and healthy full body tan. This allows for a full absorption and even distribution of the mist in just ten seconds!!
